Extra Hydration
Make sure your dog has access to plenty of water this summer.
Swims are a great way to cool off, but be careful not to let your pup’s body temperature change too quickly when jumping in, it could make things worse. Having them wet their feet first is a good way to cool their body temperature slowly.
Some more good ideas include adding a few ice cubes to their water bowl or making some frozen doggy ice blocks!
Taking a collapsible bowl and some water on walks is a good trick to make sure your pup stays hydrated while out and about. |
